Kii has introduced new A/B Testing functionality which is included with all Kii accounts, including the free ones. Developers using Kii can run an experiment and then push the optimal result to all users with one click, without having to update an app.

Kii A/B Testing supports multiple variables to provide the ability to test combinations around app experience, features, usability, etc. Developers can test hypotheses and optimize for user adoption, retention, monetization and other KPIs that matter for their business. Kii provides one experiment with unlimited variables free each month and paid upgrades are available to do more extensive testing.

Last fall Kii announced support for the Unity SDK and A/B Testing is also available for the Unity SDK to help developers can validate your game engagement hypotheses.

Kii has also announced the availability of Server Hooks which allow developers to run Server Extensions automatically by attaching a Hook config file upon code upload. The server extension can stay dormant and run when the conditions specified in the config file are met.

Currently Kii supports running code when actions such as these happen: Object CRUD operations on buckets; user management operations; and group management operations
A hook to execute server code on a scheduled basis (e.g. weekly) is coming soon.

Finally, Kii’s Javascript SDK is now compatible with PhoneGap and Titanium. Most multiplatform js-based mobile development tools such as PhoneGap and Titanium can now leverage Kii. Simply download our updated Javascript SDK as a project library. There’s no more jquery dependency.

Kii is a backend-as-a-service (MBaaS) provider that helps developers turn their apps into full-fledged, global businesses. The company offers a Cloud-based full-stack mobile backend, complete in-app analytics, ad network partnerships to help monetize, global distribution partnerships, and venture capital for apps with proven user traction.
